Hey East Coasters, This is How We Do it in California

Although California is famous for earthquakes, we are not the only ones who experience them.  The US Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake estimated at 5.9 on the Richter scale has happened today in Virginia.  Centered near Charlottesville, our friends on Facebook report they could feel it as far away as Rhode Island!  Do you think folks in Virginia knew to Drop, Cover and Hold On? Do they have earthquake kits?  Maybe it’s time for folks on the East Coast to run through the earthquake safety checklist for themselves.
