Geena The Latina: When In Doubt Listen to Grandma

The Aguilars admit that they’ve experienced a lot of earthquakes, and they know exactly what to do during a quake, that they are prepared. Well, are they? Sue gives them a test.

Only grandma remembers to drop, cover and hold on during the quake. Doesn’t everyone want to survive the quake? The kids take their laptops outside with them! Geena grabs Chunky and Teddy and runs out the door. So that their laptops and pets can have falling debris hit them as well. Well, at least we know what matters to them.

Smooth moves.

They should do what grandma does (so say we all)! They need to stay put in their houses, and either drop, cover and hold on, or if they’re in bed, just put a pillow over their heads and stay put!

Good thing the kids think this is fun, because they’ve got some practicing to do.

Sue prepared a Family Emergency Kit with all the basics that they need to survive for three days for the whole family and the pets.

Do you have a Family Emergency Kit?  It’s so not hard to do – just get yourself a big container and buy an extra round of groceries using the list on our page.
