In January of this year, I was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in creating an earthquake preparedness installation at SPUR, the San Francisco Planning + Urban Research Association. It’s called “Safe Enough To Stay”, and is open to the public Tuesday-Friday, from 11am-5pm.

So get prepared for the next earthquake already!

A way to let your neighbors know things are alright

Safe Enough to Stay illustrates a lot of solutions that we describe in our Get Ready Quick pages, such as how to shut off your gas, what you need in a home earthquake kit, and how to keep in touch with loved ones.

The closing party for Safe Enough To Stay is happening from 6-8pm on April 18, which happens to be the 106th anniversary of the 1906 Great San Francisco earthquake.

What better time to think about getting earthquake-ready?
