We Have A Winner!

Actually 6! We got six big cat contest entries for the How Prepared is Your Cat contest, and decided, though we were just going to give out 5 prizes, that everyone was a winner! Thank you for entering your adorable kitties into our contest.

Here’s one of the six winners, Morley John, and her cat Spatula, aka The Carpet Otter. Lucky Spatula lives in a well-prepared house: extra water, bolted down bookcases, and complete go-bags for both kitty and human.

It only takes ten minutes, maybe less, to put together a go-bag for your pet. Stuff a copy of their vaccination records, including rabies, and a couple of days of food, a portable water drinking device, and a leash in a bag near their carrier. There are a few other things you can include too, but it’s better to have a any go-bag than no go-bag.

Now that you’ve done, that ten minutes and put together a go-bag for yourself. A change of clothes, a closed toe pair of comfortable shoes, work gloves, medication, food and water, and a first aid kit to start.
